While in Rwamagana, I tried my hand at golf and indulged in thrilling water sports on the gentle waves of Lake Muhazi. In addition, I witnessed first-hand the transformation of the Muhazi Belt into a tourism hotspot.
Before I left, I donated books to Rwamagana YEGO (Youth Empowerment for Global Opportunity) Center. Donated publications were paid for by Ma Campagne Resort and Falcon Golf & Country Club.
As usual, I interacted with the beneficiaries and gave them words of encouragement. Our conversation revolved around what remarkable Rwanda has to offer. We all agreed that we are blessed with a very beautiful country. Furthermore, we looked into the opportunities surrounding us and the need to develop appropriate skill sets.
The youngsters were grateful to Exposure Publishers and the aforementioned partners for the books. Exposure is a Rwandan company established to plan and execute content marketing campaigns designed to showcase the beauty of Africa and inspiring stories from African communities.
During our interactive session, we drew inspiration from the brains behind the establishments of Ma Campagne Resort and Falcon Golf & Country Club. The two businesses belong to local investors whose journeys started from humble beginnings. Their contribution to the development of tourism and job creation is undeniable.
I had a good time in Rwamagana. Over the next three days, I will be in the neighboring district of Bugesera. What transpires in my next sub destination will be shared right here. Stay tuned.
