Advance Care Planning Australia welcomed participants to Yugambeh Country on the Gold Coast, Australia, for the 9th Advance Care Planning International Conference, held from 24–26 September 2025. With the theme “Are we there yet?”, the conference explored advance care planning through cultural, personal, organisational, system, and societal perspectives, bringing together consumers, health professionals, and communities to share experiences and approaches in culturally safe and inclusive care. The conference aimed to inspire new thinking and approaches that improve outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.
